The team at Smooth-AI is led by founder and CEO Govind Kizhepat who has extensive experience in all of the key disciplines related to system software, networking, and audio/video CODECs. Govind's previous company, NetXen, led the market in hardware based I/O virtualization for servers and was acquired by Qlogic (MRVL).

As founder of iCompression, Govind pioneered consumer audio/video CODECs.

The other members on the team bring extensive engineering experience from a variety of other leading software, web and media companies.
